First official day of my summer.
Made it through the year. Check.
Students didn't put me in early labor. Check.
No bed rest this time. Check.
Today I woke up at 6:30 (sleeping in) and spent time with Hubs before waking the boys up at 8:00.
Great morning playing with the boys. Check.
Ran errands and they obeyed. Check.
Stopped by Dad's work and brought him a special drink. Check.
Came home, ate lunch, down for naps. Check, check, check.
Glorious naptime-
I've missed it so. Laundry is going. I cleaned out the entire car (vacuumed, dusted, and even washed stains) and washed the boys' car seats. Okay- that happens like once a year, if we're lucky.
Washed the smelly dog's bed.
FINALLY got to spend some time organizing in Libby's room without the boys taking everything out that I put away. They've been precious about it, but I have been so anxious to go through things and it just turns into a big mess when they are with me. They want to swing their puppies in her swing. Put shoes on them, bibs, etc. I figure it's good practice for their nurturing side. So the other day, I offered a bottle for their puppies as well. Since they were baby talking to their puppies and taking care of them. Well, now they keep going in her room and taking it all out and it gets left around the house. I decided to give them some old play bottles and binkies and instructed them not to use Libby's anymore or we might lose them before she gets here! :) This is actually a bunny that was given to her and Ian has been taking care of it for her.
(sigh) So now I am enjoying a nice cold glass of pink lemonade. I just wish the dish fairy would come visit my house- because I am putting that off.....The dog is even asleep and doing me a favor by not annoying me this hour.
I came in from field day with my students on the last day and was surprised to see baby gifts awaiting us in my room. One generous mom had sent a card that all the kids signed, and had dropped off numerous wrapped gifts.
Here are the gals from my bible study. Minus a few that had already left when we took the pic.
Guess I'll drag my feet to the sink and do the dishes. Don't they ever stop?

Holy cow. That sounds the the cumulation of a couple weeks worth of work for me...and on your first day off...while pregnant. Very impressive! What about your nap?
Cute little man taking care of his "baby sister"...I'm sure your boys will be so good with Libby. Happy Summer!!!
Good grief, Super Woman. You're putting us all to shame!
Oh how I love seeing little ones nurture their toys. Those boys will be so precious with their sister.
So where are photos of the finished and highly organized nursery?
